About the family support weekend's

The Childrens Chronic Arthritis Association (CCAA) annual weekend is organised for the children and families that are dealing with the effects of JIA.

The charity has been running the weekend for 22 years and each year it gets bigger and better!

In 2014 we introduced another location to open up our weekends to families that live in the North of the UK. Due to the huge success of that weekend, we are running weekends for both the North and the South in 2015 to provide a wider support network for the children and families suffering with JIA.

The CCAA annual weekend is organised for the children and families that are dealing with the effects of JIA. While our aim is to provide you with an insight into the treatment and management of JIA…..the most important reason for organising this weekend is to give you an opportunity to meet other families who also have a child with JIA and for the children to have FUN!

Over the course of the weekend there are fun activities for the kids and informative support sessions for the families.  The weekend is the perfect opportunity to meet other families that are experiencing the demands of JIA and as many families realise when they attend our weekend's, they are not alone.

Why not come along to our next JIA weekend and see what it's all about for yourself. To find out how to apply and join us on the next weekend, visit our 'How to apply' page.
