CCAA is a volunteer-led charity run by people whose lives have been touched by Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). We receive no statutory funding, which means every project, event, and support service we provide is made possible through the generosity of our supporters and fundraisers.
Every pound donated goes directly towards helping children and families affected by JIA. Your support helps fund our key initiatives, including JIA Family Support Weekends, our Badge Award Scheme, and our network of local support groups where families can connect, share experiences, and support one another.
Our events offer children and their families a valuable opportunity to learn more about living with JIA, gain practical advice, build lasting friendships, and meet others who truly understand their journey—all while having fun and creating special memories together.
Interested in raising funds for CCAA but not sure where to start? There are lots of ways to get involved! Explore our Fundraisers’ Wall of Thanks for inspiration, and follow us on social media to see our weekly Friday Fundraiser posts with ideas and success stories.

Events & Challenges
Thinking about taking on a personal challenge to support CCAA? Whether it’s a skydive, mud run, cycling event, fun run, truck pull (yes, someone really did that!), or something completely unique, we’d love to hear about it!
No matter how big or small your challenge, your efforts can make a real difference to children and families affected by JIA. Let us know what you’re planning, and we’ll be happy to help promote your fundraising and cheer you on every step of the way.

Special Occasions
.
A special occasion can be a wonderful way to celebrate while supporting a cause that means so much to you. Instead of traditional gifts, you could ask guests to make a donation to CCAA at your wedding, birthday, anniversary, or another milestone event.
By dedicating your celebration to helping children and families affected by JIA, you can create a lasting impact and make your special day even more meaningful.

In memory of
.
There are many meaningful ways to support CCAA while honouring someone special. You may wish to make a donation in memory of a loved one, or leave a gift to CCAA in your Will.
Whether they have been affected by JIA or inspired your connection to the cause, your donation will help support children and families living with JIA.
If you would like to find out more about donating in this way, please get in touch—we would be happy to help
