Fundraising news
St Pierre Golf Club hosted a full day of fundraising activities on Friday, 19 June.

The day began early with an exciting Speed Golf Challenge, as four golfers raced around all 18 holes at St Pierre Golf Club in a bid to raise money for the charity. Supporters contributed through predictions of the players’ completion times and scores, helping to generate donations throughout the event. Organisers praised the teamwork and dedication of everyone involved in making the challenge a success.
Fundraising continued into the evening with a unique prize experience awarded through a club auction. The winning bidder enjoyed a two-hour session on a professional train simulator, an opportunity that proved both memorable and entertaining. Participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience while making a significant contribution to the charity through their winning bid.
The fundraising initiative was led by Mel Grinnell, the Ladies Captain of St Pierre Golf Club, who selected CCAA as her chosen charity for the year.
Speaking about the event, she said: “I am so happy to be raising money for the CCAA as my chosen charity during my year as Ladies Captain at St Pierre. We want CCAA families to receive the same incredible support that we were fortunate to receive with Jenna over the years.”
Funds raised through the day’s activities will help the CCAA continue providing support and assistance to children and families facing the challenges of JIA.
